The FAQ stated that there will only be 1 map, and that being the representation of North Florida and South Georgia, but the game's map is bound to grow with time and Peter Mack (CEO of Saber Porto) said the expansion of the game both geographically and in terms of vehicles "lends itself very easily and naturally to expansion".

Well, he did manage to get his last name to the game, I wish him good luck for the first name as well!

The amount of UE5 buzzwords makes me really concerning about the performance.

From what i know about UE5, people with mid range PC's will have a hard time running the game at decent quality settings, so it is safe to assume that's not a market they are aiming for.

I'm starting to doubt Road Kings will release this year.

Outside of the lack of news; Recently, the steam "release date" got changed from "2026" to "To be announced", which is an indicator that it might not come out this year.

Well if they had a late Summer or early Fall release date in mind that needed to slip, it would really need to slip even further, otherwise they'd be going up against GTA VI with a less interesting Florida map :P

And inevitably GTA VI will slip itself and everyone who moved their game to early 2027 will be panicking again

This helps SCS actually. I was hoping they don't push for consoles just to try to compete. I think more of the base map needs to be rebuilt before going consoles. ATS is much easier to pull off because there's only 1 and 1/3 of an state left to do.

As an aside, I don’t see GTA 6 slipping again. It’s already past the earnings call delay point that stopped it last 2 times, the CEO has reiterated that full marketing for the game will begin later this summer, I really do believe that this is the run and we are a go for November 19th.

Same, as much as some of us would love to see the internet have a nuclear meltdown over another GTA VI delay, i'm 95% confident the game is coming on November 19th.
