Re: Stutters
My point was that of all the apparent 'fixes' on here and elsewhere, at no point did anyone say 'is it on an SSD', I am predominantly a sim racer, sim racing games are quite happy on a HDD for obvious reasons. ETS and ATS on requirements say nothing about needing a SSD, i think it should, like many new games stipulate SSD install.
If if did then i would never of had the stutters i've had for the past year or so to the point i wasn't playing either until each update.
I have gone from stutters to clean smooth amazing gameplay like all my other games including the behemoth that is MSFS, which was always on my SSD.
HDD use is quite fine for many games and sims that don't need to put that much as you move as its just a single track, are fine, hence why its took me this long to go the way of moving MSFS onto separate SSD so i could free up the space on my boot drive...
Do you not think there could be someone else, even if its 1 person, that my post could help??
Trust me I'm now piling some time into these games and that will mean I'll go back to getting more DLC's....
My issue was always 'if i can run MSFS why not ETS ATS?', and now i know, they have to be on SSD.
So yeah i feel my post was worth it to someone and certainly not worth people like you trying to win some internet points to fill the very obvious void somewhere in your daily real life....
