Created an account the first time I started this thread.Madkine wrote: 04 Nov 2025 11:16 The link to the project is https://crowdin.com/project/scs-trucks after creating a Crowdin account you should be able to request to join the project.

But if you look at my screenshot, I am not able to request to join or even find the project.
I have the same name as here if you could add me manually.

I've posted to the Dev discord again. I don't have access to Crowdin myself.

Project does not exist or access to this project is limited.
If you are confident you have access to the project, consider switching accounts if you have multiple, or contact a project manager for further assistance.
Thanks

Re: Request to complete and maintain the Swedish translation of ETS2
I hope you get help soon to get onboard, because I think your contributions will be welcome.
I have made some contributions to the Swedish translation, but for some things in the start menu I just could not find any string to translate. But also it is just the sheer amount of work with all the untranslated strings, that just been too much for me to have a chance of getting through all.
There is also a challenge currently with the Swedish translation that not all "standard" translations are documented in the dictionary.

Re: Request to complete and maintain the Swedish translation of ETS2
Hello, I too would love to contribute to the Swedish translation and am encountering the same issues as OP. Swedish is immensely lacking in its localization, and while I am fairly passionate about translation, I currently have no way to access the Crowdin project. The invite link @Madkine mentioned should still be active, but the linked forum topic seems to have been deleted...Madkine wrote: 05 Nov 2025 11:01 Link in this thread has been updated - viewtopic.php?p=1881511#p1881511

One more thing to mention: I did get into the Crowdin once, but stupidly left before realizing I had no way back in. The reason was that I couldn't do anything; once in the Crowdin project you have to individually apply to each language, but as evidenced by the lacking state of the Swedish translation, it is safe to assume there were no active administrators around to accept or even deny my request. Seems pretty silly that the languages in most need of contribution are the ones that are the hardest to help...? Therefore I'm afraid that even if I manage to get a working link, I'll have no way of joining the Swedish project.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but there definitely needs to be an easier way to join the Crowdin as well as join individual language projects.
But for now, if anybody could help with providing an invite link to the Crowdin would be enough. Thanks for any and all help!
