Yes. And one of the possibilities that SCS will remake it at 1:19 like the rest of the game.
Yes this will make it smaller, but consistent.

I think (and hope imo) that Ireland, Wales and Highlands will be and DLC, not only UK aill came out a lil faster because of that (cuz smaller map) and also likely a lil more attention will be paid to such DLC, except of Ireland, Wales and Highlands also Isle of Man and Shetland (because of oil refinery) could be included to make this DLC Normal sized DLC after Iceland.
Im suggesting 2 names, generic one : "Irish Sea" and one less generic: "All Around Irish Sea" :D

I'm really looking forward to seeing how SCS goes about this reconstruction. I wasn't disappointed with the rework of Germany, Switzerland, and even Austria, so I'm sure it will be good ;) But for me, the best English part is still at Promods. I hope SCS will be on par with Promods, or even better.

Scs map design is always better then promods map design imo. And promods UK is extremely inconsistent.

Honestly, it’s time for SCS to take a bold step and address a major challenge by expanding the scale for both games, perhaps slightly beyond 1:19. Once they reach the East Coast in ATS, the areas become compact and dense, and a similar approach would be ideal for the UK and Ireland. The UK is a densely populated country with countless junctions, motorways, and roundabouts. Then there’s Wales, Scotland, and the northern region, where cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, and Leeds are all clustered closely together.

I don't find Promods UK extremely inconsistent as you say, but that's a matter of personal taste, eh ? ;) However, having driven in the UK for a long time as a former lorry driver, I can tell you that it is consistent.

I’ve tried Promods, before and appreciate their approach and attention to detail, which is more refined than SCS. However, it felt almost too realistic for me, so I ended up uninstalling it. I prefer a middle ground, something that’s not overly realistic but not too plain either. That’s why I enjoy SCS reworks; they strike a good balance and feel more consistent. That said, their German rework could use some improvements, especially with the countryside roads. Those parts don’t feel very realistic; I’d love to see more small-town villages included in these reworks.
