Making false statement about how long you've played the games does not help.

The games were released in 2012 and 2016, so not yet close to having been out for 20 years.
To be honest I had no clue when the games released but I have been playing both for at least 10 years...do not accuse me of something that was not necessary.

Here is the complete game crash log 2 parts:

And game log:

Thanks to all those trying to solve this problem and I am sorry for the "over 20 years statement for playing these games." But I promise I have been playing ATS since it was developed and ETS2 a few years before that. Forgive this old man please.

ETS was released in 2008 if you have played this older titles from before ETS2 I'd say close to 20 years is approved :D

Are you using VTlog and both laptops?
Try vanilla aka no mods or enhancements at all
It could also be a bad saved game crried over from the old laptop, eg left overs from mods not presnt on the new install

I am not using VTLog at all. Also I removed all mods but by this time the problem had started. Was it a mod that somehow imbedded a bug that is causing all my problems. When I wiped off all traces of ATS and ETS and reinstalled the problem is still there. It has to be a MOD installed bug is my guess. Mods came from Steam workshop too and approved.

There is no such thing as an approved mod (apart from the very few made by SCS themselves.
Just because it's on the steam workshop doesn't mean it will work or that it won't break your game.

However if you've unsubscribed from them and then re-installed the games, there's no way they can affect a new profile.

And you still haven't provided a game log after a crash. That log may tell us exactly what the issue is.

Here's some generic fixes to try:

Make sure the game and steam are not running in compatibility mode.
Make sure your windows swap file (Virtual memory) is set to 'system managed'
You may need more than 20GB free on the system drive for swap files
Disable the Discord overlay
Disable RivaTuner overlay
If you are on NVIDIA and have previously used the Profile Inspector for better anti-aliasing, all SCS profiles MUST be restored to driver default, for game version 1.50.
Disable RTX Dynamic colour adjustment in the NVIDIA panel
Disable graphic filters in AMD adrenalin software
If you use DSR, deactivate it.
Disable the NVIDIA overlay (can cause crash on launch as well)

Also try setting these to 0 in your config file.

uset cf_asus_aura "0"
uset cf_razer_chroma "0"
uset g_color_feedback "0"

i believe post above points correctly to possible cause. there is "mod" dll loaded by game. which causes in-game telemetry to go nuts and crash game imho.

To oktjjegaard and Tom you guys were right. I rechecked both of my laptops and VTlog was still installed on the one with all the problems. Uninstalled VTLog and everything is up and running. Thank you both so much. It's nice to be "on the road again".

Thanks so much, I did not check both laptops and VTlog was installed on my main gaming rig. It is now gone and my trucking days are back....
