This load order was started by @Vinnie Terranova in January 2021, and from late December 2024 I have taken it over. Thanks to Vinnie for all the amazing work over the last 4 years!.
I don't have any major changes planned for how the load order is made, I think VInnie's methodology is good. As they say, if it ain't broken, don't fix it!
Vinnie's Introduction
After thinking about it, I decided to make a new load order thread for ETS2 map combos. I know there exists a lot of map combos, especially on youTube, but in order to use one of those map combos I have to write down the load order on paper before I can use that load order in the Mod Manager. The load orders in this thread I can print, or even view it on my smartphone, so for me it is easier to use. Also, with this load order thread it is easier to have multiple load orders in one place.
In this first post I will post load orders for different map combos. I will try to keep this load order as up-to-date as possible. With each ETS2 update I will copy the existing load order and paste that in a new post. This way an archive is created of load orders for older versions of ETS2. After that I will start to create the new load order for the new ETS2 update in the first post.

- I will NOT use maps from third-party "mod hosting" sites, they should all be downloaded from one of the above sites. If the map is not hosted on one of those sites listed above, I will probably not include the map in the load order.
- Use the navigation and/or search function of this forum, or use Google.
- I will not create load orders for Open Betas of ETS2.
- I will not include maps that need the files manually modifying by end users. No more Manifest edits.
- I will not test every possible load order. Also, don't expect from me that I will give solutions for all issues with load orders; we'll have to do it together, and therefore I need your help as well to create correct load orders with as few issues as possible.
- I don't use the Cargo Market myself, so any issues found will need help from the wider group.
- If you find an issue with a particular load order, please make sure you have only loaded the correct versions of the map mods listed in that particular load order.
- When reporting issues to the thread, please include a COMPLETE game.log.txt. Upload it to Pastebin or similar site, and include the link to this in your post here. Also, before posting, try removing ALL additional mods such as trucks/trailers/weather etc, as it is very often one of those causing the issue, and not the load order files themselves. You are welcome to share the log files via Google Drive or OneDrive, but be aware this can leak your email address in some cases.
- I welcome suggestions for new maps. If you do suggest one, please give the link to the map's homepage, NOT the sharemods or modsbase link to the file itself.
- I will post all known issues in this first post right under the corresponding load order.
- In case a map mod doesn't show a version number in the Mod Manager I will put the version number in parentheses.
- If you want a smaller map combo, just remove the map mods you don't want, including their corresponding road connections, ferry connections and fixes.
- If you want to really be able to customize your map selection, I strongly recommend the GMC International Combos (these are completely free maps), these allow wide selection of maps and will generate the load order for you based on selection

SRMap 13.1 and dependent maps
SRmap v.13.1 is NOT available for download ANYWHERE. This map, and any others marked in Yellow, MUST be left out if you do not have a saved copy of SRMap 13.1 from the time when it was available.
Please do NOT ask where you can find it, or if someone can share it with you. This is NOT possible, we are NOT allowed to redistribute this or any other mod.
Notes and Known Issues
- Silesia and HungaRebuild have some minor broken roads when used together, but these can easily be avoided. I'm working on a fix.
Alternative background maps
This load order now uses ETS2 Global Background Map as the default background map, as it more closely "fits" the maps geographically.
It is still possible to use the Promods Complete Afroeurasia Background Map, simply replace
- ETS2 Global Background Map
- Scale Hack Disable (2.0)
- ProMods Complete Afroeurasia Background Map (2.5)
Customizing the ETS2 Global Background Map
It is possible to customize the ETS2 Global Background Map.
For example, it's possible change the zoom level used on the Quick Job and Freight Market maps. This can help in dense map areas such as Swedish Islands, Poland Rebuilding, SIlesia etc.
The ETS2 Global Background Map file is unlocked, simply
- open it with your archiver
- edit /def/map_data/zoom_uplift.sui
- change the value of zoom_uplift[7] to something smaller. I personally use 30000.0
- save the changes back into the mod
IMPORTANT NOTE: When updating to a newer version of the map, take care that you have a backup of any modifications you have made in the ETS2 Global Background Map file, it's extremely easy to just overwrite and lose your tweaks!
Reporting Issues
If you encounter an issue with the load order (and for sure there will be some from time to time), please do the following:
- If you use ANY other mods than the ones listed in the load order, such as truck/trailer/UI/weather mods, disable them and try to reproduce the issue. It's surprisingly common that it's one of these add-on mods that cause the issue.
- Ensure that you have a COMPLETE game.log.txt (you need unlimitedlog set in your game launch parameters) to ensure that as much information is there as possible to debug the issue
- Upload the game.log.txt to an online service such as Pastebin. You can also share from Google Drive or Onedrive, but be aware that this may leak your email address, so use wisely
- Post to the thread, with a brief explanation of the issue you have found, and include a link to the game.log.txt.
