For all stock In-Game trucks & transmissions.
Current (1.57) In-Game tire-size has a rolling circumference of 3.1873 meters or 504.9 revs per mile, which is 1.8% off the
514 revs per mile used by Goodyear and Michelin tires of this (or compatible) size.
This mod fixes the "tire size" to match the 295/75 R 22.5 (Goodyear) or 275/80 R 22.5 (Michelin) 514 revs per mile by modding the differential ratio of the transmissions.
Each differential ratio of the stock in-game transmissions is increased by 1.8%.
This leads to a few second order effects like engine rpms being 1.8% higher, now better matching
the engine torque curve and increasing the engine power. - Giving us the numbers we should have seen all along!
Drawback due to higher rpms will be a slight increase in fuel consumption.
General data for tire "revs per mile":
504.9 : ATS faulty 295/75 R 22.5 (3.1873 rolling circumference)
514 : Goodyear Fuel Max LHD2 295/75 R 22.5
514 : Michelin X Line Energy D 275/80 R 22.5
The revs per mile numbers can be found in the tire vendor Truck Tires Databook.
Calculation applied:
SCS Revs per Mile: 1609.3 / 3.18736 = 504.9
Multiplier = "revs per mile" / 504.9
Multiplier = 514 / 504.9 = 1.018
Conversions applied:
2,16 2.199
2,28 2.321
2,41 2.453
2,64 2.688
2,67 2.718
2,79 2.840
2,85 2.901
3,08 3.136
3,25 3.309
3,42 3.482
3,45 3.512
3,55 3.614
3,7 3.767
Most likely origin of the bug:
The "rolling circumference" of tires is NOT "pi * diameter", but ""some factor" * diameter".
And SCS applied pi instead of "some factor".
Probably "in game" since inception - do I get a bug bounty for finding this?
Whenever SCS comes around to fix this, this mod will be obsolete.

Update: Clarification about numbers - others would call it "anchor effect"
