[WIP] 1:10 Scale USA Map

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

There are new cities, but we are not ready to show them. And before you ask we don't know when they'll be ready. They'll be ready when they're ready.
Not sure of the necessity of the 'before you ask' comment to be honest.

I was just asking if there were any updates. Don't be annoyed when you announce that you're making a huge map mod and then people take a genuine interest in it

To everyone who's wondering what happened to weekly updates, we discussed internally switching to monthly updates so we have more to show. Keep in mind, the updates might come early or later. It all depends on what our internal development looks like. Also, to keep in mind, we literally have 1 mapper who's doing all the map stuff. We are actively looking for help. The more people we have, the faster or more frequently the updates will be.

I am also keeping an eye on the development and would be happy with just a 1.10 of California, I never go outside of CA unless the job takes me to a neighboring state for delivery like Arizona, Nevada or Oregon.
I base out of San Diego with just one other driver employee and role play the sim. Sure I have travelled before on other profiles but saving the exploration road trip vacations for the Mustang when it comes.

So don't get overwhelmed thinking you gotta deliver the whole USA, good luck with the project.

We may do AZ, NV, NM and some areas of TX in the future. But that's ways off. We appreciate you bud. Please join our server to stay up to date on mods and new mods. The server link is in the description. ;)

Before anyone asks, we don't have updates at this current time because development is moving like a tortoise. If we had more people on our team, we would have updates a little more frequently. Unfortunately, it is a pain in the butt to recruit helpers because it seems like no one wants to help out. We'll keep trying regardless.

It might help to get others modders on board by showing some good progress. Like a gameplay video about driving in a finished 1:10 area or pictures of places that are almost finished. The content now is just too much WIP to determine the progress for a lot of people.

A roadmap, a timepath, changing the title to 1:10 California initialy. It's marketing, you need to 'sell' it. For now most people will regard this as a very ambitious project that most likely won't make it due to its enormous scale. Showing some finished area's will starting to prove them otherwise and convince them to join the team.

Anyway, just my thoughts about it. Good luck and I will keep following your progress.

Pretty much everywhere is a WIP atm. Also, found out my team member is starting college soon, now that means I need to scramble to find someone to take over so we continue development. Any idea where I could find help?

Noone wants to do all the grinding and hard work on a project this scale
There's a reason SCS chose 1:19 for Europe with England in 1:15 was an experiment and not much of a difference to Germany in 1:19
