choice of manual or automatic transmission

Hello i think the ability to chose of either an automatic truck or having a manual truck. it would make the game more inverse and being ably to choose the transmission type that's in the you're truck in game would be nice if you drive with a steering wheel and shifter or even if you drive with a keyboard would be nice to know I'm driving a manual truck in game

You can kind of choose it, but it's a global setting in the game options so it applies to all trucks. I never really liked that system though it's better than nothing. I would also prefer if the game honored the actual transmission type installed in each truck.

@Unster If you had the game honour the actual transmission type in each truck, well there are trucks that only have manual transmissions for the 18 speed, so you would force everyone to have to drive a manual. I would see a lot of pushback on this.

It could easily be a checkbox in the options. Use installed transmission type in each truck or something like that. The present functionality is far from ideal because I even have to see what transmission each truck has when switching trucks, and then adjust the shifting mode in the options if I want to shift realistically, for example switching between Eaton-Fuller 10, 13, and 18 speed modes. The game should do this automatically.
