1. Well it's good to see the real model of the car.Egon wrote: 12 May 2026 07:44 @Drive Safely 1. As Jacopo mentioned, I disallowed SCS fake Octavia wagon, as my mod includes real one. It's the only thing it edits in game itself.
2. I expected some people would not like this step in terms of materials. Originally, first cars indeed didn't have this effect, but it made them look bland. It gives cars the depth of paint and for some colours, this effect is indeed necessary. My other points - not all cars do have this effect, especially Stellantis vans and for example Duster '18 do not have this effect applied. I was also rather careful with setting of this, and it's less piercing than on some Jazzycat's cars, it did took me some time to polish it. Even in direct sunlight it won't make half of this car white and super-shiny, no worries. Thanks for the feedback!![]()
Hypothetically speaking, if a map mod or DLC is expecting the civilian SCS Octavia wagon to appear in some special area as a parked vehicle, your mod would currently break the compatibility with a zero spawn frequency.
2. Maybe a matter of taste, but the way SCS have done materials for their car models doesn't look bland to me. It has reflectivity and you can see the depth from the shadows. Something to consider
