Route advisor is now missing

Hey guys,
I don't know if that's due to the latest update or something but my route advisor is simply not showing anymore. It doesn't matter whether I pick a quick job or mark it on the map, the red line just doesn't appear on my dashboard while driving.
Any suggestions?
Btw, I've got no mods and stuff. Since I'm quite new in the game, I've got the default settings basically.

Your route advisor has no become an widget. So you have to activate it from there.

I was able to enable the gps, but the red line actually won't appear. How can I solve that?
