Unjoining parts

#1 Post by PBandJ » 13 Mar 2026 23:42

I made a bullbar bumper and wanted 3 different variants of it, so I duplicated it off twice. Apparently during duplication a slight size change happened and one of them is slightly larger causing an issue with an accessory for it. I didn't catch it and joined all the parts of the bullbar together. Is there away of unjoining the bullbar back to individual parts like before the join process? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to select all of the polygons/vertices of the part that you wish to separate while in Edit Mode on the mesh, then press P to make them their own part.

You can try to select Linked (L) in case the vertices didn't merge for faster workflow.
