@Sikay The test build is up: https://github.com/Switch-Bros/easy-scs ... r/releases
Grab the one at the top, "Server Packages MVP - Sikay Testbuild" (it's a
pre-release, not the official v1.5.0 yet).
What it does: Tools -> "Optional server mods..." -> open your server_packages.sii,
tick which mods should be optional, Save. It only edits the .sii (your .dat is
never touched), and it writes a backup next to the file first.
The one thing I need you to check: load an edited .sii on one of your real convoy
servers and confirm the mods you marked actually behave as optional. (Reminder: the
server side also needs mods_optioning: true in server_config, otherwise optional
mods stay required for players.)
If that works on your server, I'll build it out into proper per-server profiles.
Let me know how it goes - and thanks again for the sample files, they made this
straightforward.

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Re: [REL] [WIP] Easy SCSModManager (ESCSMM)
Version 1.5.1 is live (see Changelog).
You can now share your active mod list.
A new Share menu lets you hand your load order to someone as a short 6-character online code (works out of the box, no setup), as a .modshare.json file, or pulled straight from another player's profile.sii.
On import you get a preview of which mods you already have and which are missing - missing Workshop mods come with a one-click Subscribe link, plus a "Check again" button so you can subscribe, wait for the download, and confirm without leaving the dialog. Load-order group pins travel with the list between ESCSMM users too.

Re: [REL] [WIP] Easy SCSModManager (ESCSMM)
Easy SCSModManager 1.5.3 is out - Simplified Chinese support + a new About dialog
Hi all! Two updates rolled together since the last build.
ไธญๆ / Simplified Chinese (1.5.2)
The app now ships with a complete Simplified Chinese translation - just pick it
in Settings. Big thanks to huayishuang, who contributed the full translation.
The language list is data-driven now, so any future community translation only
needs to drop in its own file to show up.
Redesigned About dialog (1.5.3)
Help -> About now opens a proper window - logo, version, a short description,
project links and a credits section - instead of the old plain message box.
Contributors are credited right there in the app.
Under the hood (1.5.3)
The translation files got a tidy-up: shared wording (Cancel, Save, Close, ...)
is stored once instead of duplicated, with a guard that keeps the language files
in sync across languages. Nothing visible changed - it just makes future
translations easier.
Credits
- huayishuang - Simplified Chinese translation
- Naider266 - the mod-list sharing idea; his ETS2 Profile Mod Swapper inspired
the Share feature, and he's now credited in the About dialog
- and everyone on the forum who keeps sending reports and ideas - thank you
Free and open-source as always:

Feedback and bug reports always welcome. Happy trucking!

Re: [REL] [WIP] Easy SCSModManager (ESCSMM)
1. The option to sort mods in the left panel by installation date does not work.
2. I hope a feature to jump to the mod file location can be added. It would be very convenient, especially for Steam Workshop mods.

That would be brilliant, @LokajAlfred - and you're right, a lot of ETS2 playersLokajAlfred wrote: 12 Jun 2026 20:10 Hey, i can help in translation into polish, many players of ets2 are from Poland
are from Poland. Polish is very welcome.
It needs no coding. The full step-by-step is here:
https://github.com/Switch-Bros/easy-scs ... anslations
Short version: copy the folder easy_scsmodmanager/resources/i18n/en/ to a new .../pl/ folder, translate the values (never the keys), keep placeholders like {count} and {name} as they are, then open a pull request. A missing key just shows up as the raw key in the app, so gaps are easy to spot as you go.
I'll register Polish in the language list, so once your pl/main.json lands it shows up under Settings -> Language automatically.
Ping me here or on the PR if anything is unclear - happy to help.
Thank you!

Easy SCSModManager 1.5.4 is out
@LLBBC - both of your points from a couple of posts up are in this one:

@LLBBC - both of your points from a couple of posts up are in this one:
- "Date installed" sort is fixed. It now uses each mod's real install time (when the file landed on your system) instead of the file's modification time, so a freshly added mod no longer sorts as the oldest. A missing file won't break the sort anymore either.
- "Open file location" added: right-click any mod to open its folder in your file manager - the workshop item's folder for Workshop mods, the containing folder for local ones. Give it a try and let me know how it behaves.

Re: [REL] [WIP] Easy SCSModManager (ESCSMM)
Can local modules add the function of displaying file names? Currently, the file location can only be opened, but the file name of the module cannot be known.
There is a problem with automatic detection of updates in version 1.53. After clicking download, the program closes and a black window pops up with the title "find "8180". This window no longer has any action. After manually closing and reopening, a new version will be detected and a new version will be detected. Obviously, the update failed. At present, I have manually downloaded the update to version 1.54, and I am not sure whether this problem will still occur.

Re: [REL] [WIP] Easy SCSModManager (ESCSMM)
This option is now functional, yet there remains a minor issue. Every time the tool is relaunched, the mod sorting resets to alphabetical order by name, which conflicts with the display state of the option above.BeckysFootSlave wrote: 12 Jun 2026 23:27 Easy SCSModManager 1.5.4 is out

Also in 1.5.4: translations can now be partial - any untranslated key falls back to English, so a language can be contributed bit by bit. Polish is already registered and will appear as soon as a translation is dropped in.

Speaking of alphabetical sorting: the tool currently sorts mods by their file names; it should instead be adjusted to sort by each modโs actual display name.
