Re: setting up blender and scs tools version 1.60.
All locators are on the truck model, they don't have anything to do with the DLCs, or it would be utter chaos because every DLC would overwrite the chassis/cabins. Def files in DLCs just make them usable because they have an accessory to display now. If no accessory is defined the game just hides the locator in the shop, so you can just use the exhaust locators for your sideskirt bar.

It is the same way with any other accessory, locator is the position it will be put on, so yeah, you can do it the same way Digital X showed it to you.

i loaded the variant separately into the game and it work but when i try load it in a singular sii files it does not load
SiiNunit
{
# For modders: Please do not modify this file if you want to add a new entry. Create in
# this directory a new file "<base_name>.<idofyourmod>.sii" where <base_name> is name of
# base file without the extension (e.g. "city" for "/def/city.sii") and <idofyourmod> is
# some string which is unlikely to conflict with other mod.
#
# Warning: Even if the units are specified in more than one source file, they share the
# same namespace so suffixes or prefixes should be used to avoid conflicts.
@include "addon_hookups/dashboard.dlc_volvo_tuning.sui"
}

Do you want to add a light to an accessory like a hookup? I have a video on that on my old channel.
