Another change has been made to my setup. Logitech G600 mouse has been changed for a Steelseries Rival 3 wired.
Re: Post your PC Specs
New desktop that I finally got up and running:
CPU: Intel i3-10100
MB: Asrock H410M-HDV/M.2
RAM: 1x8GB Patriot Viper Steel DDR4-3000 (which due to CPU memory controller limitations or some other external factor I have no control over, I was only able to get it to 2666 before I hit a wall somewhere, even though my mobo can take all the way up to 2933.)
Storage: 480GB ADATA SU635 2.5” SSD + WD Blue 4TB 3.5” 5400 RPM hard drive.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super (plugged into main monitor) + Intel UHD Graphics 630 (plugged into secondary monitor as my GTX 1650 Super doesn’t have enough HDMI ports to run both at the same time, so the secondary is plugged straight into the motherboard)
Case: Deepcool MATREXX 30
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600 watt non-modular with no 80+ efficiency rating whatsoever, which is kinda sketchy, but it somehow works and hasn’t exploded yet even though my parents did absolutely no research on computer power supplies at all.
Monitors: 2x Sceptre 32” TVs repurposed as monitors

Re: Post your PC Specs
I ended up with the strix X570-E version because it had wifi, I do wonder if there was much else different compared to the F. Although I noticed now you can't even buy the E version anymore.

Your E is better from any standpoint, I went F because it was cheaper. E has more USB ports, a better VRM, wireless and Bluetooth

Upgraded my CPU and Motherboard today.Garrington_Levy wrote: ↑24 Mar 2022 15:55Once again, I have changed something This time it is the case. I got rid of the stinky old NZXT H510 and now have a nice new Bequiet! Pure Base 500 in metallic grey/gun metal grey.Garrington_Levy wrote: ↑08 Mar 2022 14:03
Got a new GPU now, so ray tracing is thing I can experience.
MSI RTX2060 12gb - I read that this one is more focused to the mining side of things, but I've had nothing but joy so far with it.
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x at factory clock speed.
MB: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus.
Next is a better PSU, I have 80+ white and really am getting fed up with it - it's not modular, or even semi modular, it just a hot, noisy ugly thing that makes my pc run warmer than it should. So anything that is 80+ gold rated that doesn't break the bank really - I've heard Bequiet! make good PSU's so I'm temped to have try of one.
Has anyone ever been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I've always found quite useful this list to chose safely among the myriad of PSU there are in the market: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1116640 ... t-rev-148/
Just check the list on the first post to have a general quality classification if you don't have any special or very high power setup (that it's not your case) that could require additional details

My PSU is a Super Flower Leadex Gold 650w, 1st gen. 5600X, 16GB RAM and a Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080. May be cutting it close, but I've had this PSU since 2014 at £90 and it hasn't skipped a beat.
