@farspear
I'm curious, as a Canadian I know very little about the markings on a European truck. What does the L and the V in a circle mean on the front of your truck? Thanks 😏

it is VI, wich means this truck is Euro 6, the L is for vehicles that are within a certain dB range, so they are also allowed to drive when other trucks are not (Austria is the L wich is stricter then the G from Germany)

V=vehicle appeals to Euro 5 emission (regulated on 2008/10/01, outlawed on 2012/12/31) norms (V being the Roman numeral of 5)
L=Lärmarmes Kraftfahrzeug (German for "Poor-noised commercial vehicle"), allows trucks to drive between 22:00 and 6:00 in Austiras's Lärmschutz (noise-protected) zones (Since it's stricter than the German Geräuscharmes Kraftfahrzeug (G-sticker), you're also allowed to drive at night in Germany with it, despite not using the G-sticker)
