The highway standards aren't exactly the same in all the states. They are very similar, but there's definitely noticeable differences. Only 17 states have fully adopted the national Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The other states have either made their own amendments to the MUTCD or wrote their own standards all together.

Yeah I suppose if you know your European countries, you can use process of elimination a lil better. Signage indeed could help more in ETS2.

If I had to guess I would say intersection I-84 and I-86, but that location is much greener than what I see on the screenshot. So my second guess would be intersection US-93 and I-84. That is not east of Twin Falls, but north of Twin Falls.

Yep, that's right! This is JCT US-93 & I-84 north of Twin Falls, Idaho.

This location is also interesting because of this oddly placed streetlight.
