No, Project Mid-Atlantic is compatible with Route Alaska. That was the own issue of the previous Project Mid-Atlantic version. So far, our tests have been successful and we’ll be releasing our new map combo within 1-2 days.

The only thing I can think of doing in regards to the ferry to Alaska and Australia Outback is make the ferry to Valdez from a seperate city instead. I know that means a bit more work but it's one possible solution.
