Yes that is why its 6 years and 4 of months since the blog post not 7 years

And it could be 10 years old and that would change nothing, SCS would still deliver that feature when they consider it's ready and have time to complete it instead on doing other things they consider more important.

That blog entry is the main reason they don't talk no more about their intentions to long term: people is unable to understand the difference between "we would like to do this" and "we are going to do this and we expect to release it in X time". I shouldn't be so difficult, but it seems that it is, that those two concepts cannot be distinguished by too many people. So, they don't reveal anymore what they will like to do in the future that way people don't keep bothering them with questions about something that never had a date of release.
